Flytheflag has its roots back in 1998 when we purchased the original business based in Glenfield on Auckland’s North Shore.

As with any commercial operation we have had many changes in what we do and where we do it, but suffice to say that the business has settled into its present form since 2001.

We operate a full Import and Distribution business supplying various sectors of the Retail Trade throughout New Zealand

We currently employ 7 full time staff at our Ellice Road premises.

Belinda :     Assistant to all of the above!!  

With the advent of the Internet, and Web based Sales operations, we have actively developed that side of our business.

We started with our range of Flagpoles and from small beginnings the growth has been steady and it continues to trend upwards. FlyTheFlag now has an excellent profile in the New Zealand market place. Each Pole or Flag that’s sold becomes a silent salesman for the next one!! Our range of Flags also continues to grow and recent successes on the Sports Field with our National teams create huge opportunities for our customers to want to Fly their own Flags!!  GO KIWI!!
 
This success has encouraged us to broaden our product base.. We now actively travel far and wide to bring product to fill niches in the New Zealand marketplace. We have been careful to make sure that our lust for product does not outstrip our expertise, and for that reason we will carefully test market products before placing our full efforts behind them.

We are careful to ensure that we can provide the backup that we need to service the items that we sell. We think it only fair that customers deserve such support after making a purchase from us. There’s nothing worse that not being able to get your Widget fixed because there are no parts for it!!

A quick glance though the product categories on the site will show you that wherever possible we have tried to portray the items in as realistic format as possible…without retouched pictures or clear-cut back grounds etc. What you see is what you get!! In each case the pictured item is the one that you will buy…not a catalogue shot!!

We normally dispatch goods same day after cleared payment is received.

We are able top process Credit Card Payment, or receive Cheques (Clearing delay applies), Cash of course, but not EFTPOS. Please see payment methods on the site.
